1850 嚴(yán)驥虎 2018-12-10 p-04 it's the ink overflow error, which basically means the pump is dumping too much ink onto the rollers inside the drum. If you take the screen off the outside of your drum (be very careful!) you can see the ink buildup. You need to clean all the extra ink off. Be careful you don't touch the sensors -- two little rods about as thick as a pin that hang over the ink bead. (All this isn't as complicated as it sounds.) If someone's found a way to remove the excess ink without pulling the drum apart I'd sure like to know about it.
I've got two Risos, and it usually only happens in one of them, and usually when I'm running ink from FastInks. I don't think I'm gonna buy their stuff anymore. I'd love to use Riso ink, but it costs twice as much and I'm a little guy. Makes it alot harder to turn a profit when you're up against printshops with $100K
